A Unit of Claretian Missionaries
Building confident, curious, and well-rounded learners
Our curriculum consists of well planned activities for our students which focus on promoting participation, learning and execution. Our students are educated through current and advanced means available today. They are given multiple opportunities to find out their admirable potentialities within themselves and make use of them for their well-being and for others.
We help them to grow in positive thinking and appreciative attitude. Along with curriculum, we teach them to be socially responsible citizens by involving them into social activities. Our curriculum is framed in such a way that our students are assessed by a continuous and comprehensive scheme of evaluation by their teachers and awarded every month. We strictly insist that all in the school premises must converse only in English. Our school admits children from LKG to Std.IX and the medium of instruction is English. We teach Tamil and Hindi languages.
To enhance the competence of the child, along with the curricular activities, St. John's offers Co-curricular activities such as:
Karate training with qualified instructors
Professional skating programs
Communication and language skills
Creative expression through art
Strategic thinking and mental development
Music and keyboard training
Mental mathematics and calculation
Physical wellness and mindfulness
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday evenings under the roof of Claret Cultural Academy (CCA). Children from Stds III to IX can choose activities. CCA is highly recommended from Std VI (at least one activity).
"When you put faith, hope and love together, you can raise positive kids in a negative world."
Academic excellence alone will not be beneficial for the holistic development of the children. In this advanced world, we must allow the children to know the high values of life. Schools play a major role in influencing the students.
To make a student a good citizen, 'Honesty Shop' is a set up where school children are left to pick up edibles or stationery items on their own and drop the money in coin boxes without anyone to monitor. We are very proud to say that our Johnians are using it honestly.
Join St. John's School and experience comprehensive academic excellence with character development.
